My son when he realized he won the junior chef competition

EXCITING NEWS FOR MY FAMILY

🏆 Bear with me as I brag on my Son

Okay, I write a food newsletter and I just HAVE to share a happy moment for my family (food related, of course). Last night my son competed in the local Junior Chef competition and took 1st place. The moment he realized he won has officially taken its place as a new core memory. He and I were bursting with joy and we couldn’t stop smiling for hours. Even at bedtime Ollie whispered, “I still can’t believe I won”. Next stop, regionals! ❤️

He made Taco Cups. Here’s a tiktok he found for the recipe.

Trivia Answer

Green became associated with St. Patrick’s Day because of Ireland’s nickname, “The Emerald Isle.” The tradition of wearing green also comes from folklore—legend has it that leprechauns can’t see green and will pinch anyone not wearing it!
